Dean Keating: The AI Consultant Who Also Publishes Basildon.co

Why there is a page about the publisher at all

Most of this directory is about shops, leisure venues, eateries and public places: the Eastgate Shopping Centre, the retail parks, the Festival Leisure Park, Pitsea Market, Wat Tyler Country Park. Behind it sits one person, Dean Keating, who also runs a business installing AI. Rather than slip that in quietly, the site says so, once, here.

What he does

His websites describe a done-for-you service. He builds AI agents, installs them inside the tools a business already uses, trains the team and supports the setup afterwards. He is clear that it is installed for you, not handed over as a pile of instructions.

The jobs he lists are practical ones: replying to new enquiries within minutes, day or night; following up every lead until they book or say no; sending quotes and chasing the unanswered ones; booking work into the diary; answering common questions across email, web and WhatsApp; sorting messages; sending updates, confirmations and reminders; handing difficult cases to a person; raising invoices; chasing late payments; copying details between systems; and a weekly report.

How an engagement runs

1. A free call about how your business runs.
2. An audit of the work that is worth automating.
3. The build and install.
4. Training and ongoing support.

He starts with the single task that would make the most difference. You leave the free call with a plan you can use with or without him. There is no published price list: the cost is given after the call, with no obligation.

What his website says about him

He is a Shopify 10K Award winner, has more than ten years in marketing, has driven more than a million orders through Meta ads, and spent five years as a professional stand-up comedian before moving into marketing. He also builds websites for trades and small businesses and does SEO.

He has no rated Google business listing, so there is no review score to show you. That is why his page here is a plain profile and not a ranked entry.

What it is not

It is not a course, it is not phone answering, and it is not a chatbot product you subscribe to and set up yourself.

Where he is

He works from Horndean, Hampshire. The build and install are done remotely anywhere in the UK, and his website says he can visit businesses in Hampshire or nearby in person. Essex is further than that, so expect screens and calls.

About this guide

Basildon.co is published by Dean Keating, who also runs the service described here. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, not in Basildon, and works with Basildon and Essex businesses remotely. If you want someone in the room, say so on the first call and look at Basildon-based providers too. This guide recommends our own service, so compare it with other providers before you decide.
