Which train stations are in Basildon?

Basildon borough has three c2c stations on the Shoeburyness line into London Fenchurch Street: Basildon, Pitsea and Laindon. Billericay and Wickford, just outside the town, are served by Greater Anglia. Which one is nearest depends on where you live, but the town centre, Nethermayne and Fryerns are closest to Basildon station, Pitsea and Vange suit Pitsea station, and Laindon, Langdon Hills and Noak Bridge fit Laindon best.

How do I get from Basildon to London Fenchurch Street?

Basildon station is on Station Way, SS16 5XY, and is run by c2c. The c2c route page gives about 37 minutes to Fenchurch Street on a direct train, roughly every 15 minutes on average, with off-peak day singles from £8.20 at the time of writing (September 2026). c2c's Basildon station page gives around 20 minutes to Southend. Laindon, on Station Approach, SS15 6AB, is about 40 minutes to Fenchurch Street on average according to c2c, and c2c says Pitsea is roughly an hour to London on its station page, so check the planner for the fastest service from your stop. Pitsea also has trains towards Southend (about 15 minutes) and Grays (about 20 minutes), and c2c notes it is the change for Chafford Hundred and Lakeside Shopping Centre.

What about Billericay and Wickford for Liverpool Street?

Billericay station is on Radford Way, CM12 0BP, and Wickford station is on Station Approach, SS11 7AT. Both are managed by Greater Anglia, and their trains run on the Southend Victoria line via Shenfield towards London Liverpool Street.
